We are in need of portable c-d players for our listening center if you have any old ones you aren't using at your house.

- Fitness Friday
For “The Leader in Me” our Student Lighthouse Team, faculty, and staff members are planning on starting “Fitness Friday”. Students will be encouraged to wear workout clothing (tennis shoes, t-shirts, jogging pants, etc) to school each Friday. The students will take part in various activities in order to “sharpen their saws”. If possible, we are asking parents to donate healthy snacks for the students to enjoy on “Fitness Friday”. A list of suggested healthy snacks is listed below. Each classroom teacher will be collecting all of the healthy snacks brought in. We would greatly appreciate any donations you could provide. Thank you so much for helping us as we work to enhance your child’s physical and mental well-being J
Healthy Snack Suggestions:
- Cereal bars (whole grain) or granola bars
- Cheese cubes with whole grain crackers
- Fresh fruit
- String cheese
- Vegetables with low fat dip
- Whole grain crackers or pretzels

I take care of my body by eating right, exercising and getting sleep. I spend time with family and friends. I learn in lots of ways and lots of places, not just at school. I find meaningful ways to help others.
