Mrs. Cobb's Class Mission Statement

Mrs. Cobb’s Class Mission Statement

By Carleigh and Michael

Our class has been working on The Leader in Me. The Leader in Me is a program that helps kids learn how to be leaders and help others even when they are out of school. It also has to do with the seven habits. The seven habits are Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Think Win Win, Seek First to Understand then to be Understood, Synergize, and Sharpen the Saw. Our class has also been working on a mission statement.  While working on the mission statement, we were synergizing and thinking win win which are two of the seven habits.   We all drew a rough draft of what we would like for the mission statement to be.   Then we shared our drafts and voted on the design we wanted it to be.  Then we worked together to figure out what we wanted from other designs.  We chose at least one thing from every rough draft.  Next, we all had different tasks on the mission statement.  We all cut out a little person to go around earth. Other people cut out big rockets and stars to put on the poster and designed the inside of them and put our mission statement in them.  This is our class mission statement:  Respect Everyone, Unite, Think Win Win, Achieve our Goals, Be in Charge of Yourself, and Enjoy Learning.  Our class thought these ideas would help us every day in order to be successful leaders.
