TRANSCRIPTS

 

 

 

What:          A permanent record of all of your high school courses, grades and class rank

 

 

 

Why:           To track credits for graduation; send to colleges and employers

 

 

 

When:          Transcripts are updated at the end of each school year

 

 

 

CREDITS

 

 

 

          Each course is worth 1 credit; must pass to get credit

 

 

 

          Required credits =           English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, PE, Life 101

 

 

 

          Elective credits = Ag, Business, Art, ROTC, ect…

 

 

 

          Graduation =          24 credits

 

 

 

PROGRESS REPORTS/HOMEWORK

 

 

 

*Parents can access grades on Infinite Campus program at anytime.  See Mrs. Zaring in the front office for access.

 

 

 

*Homework is important.  Zeros will kill your grade.

 END OF COURSE ASSESSMENTS/STATE TESTING

 

 

 

          Students will now be required to take an End of Course assessment in Alg II, Biology, English II and US History.  These test will count as 20% of student’s final grade.  Sophomores and Juniors will also take an On-Demand writing assessment.
