Our focus habit was being proactive. Proactive means make your own weather. It means we are in charge of ourselves. You are the only person that can control you.
Last Thursday we went on a field trip to the Yount farm. We learned how bread is made. We saw machines that seperated the grain and stems of the wheat. Also they showed us how grain was made into flour and the stems were made into bales of hay.
Our focus habit this week was Begin with the End in Mind. We have been rounding to the nearest 100,s and 1,000,s. We have learned about Character Traits. We have also been studying basic needs of a plant and Photosynthesis. We had a spelling and vocab. test too.
