“Brittany brings a wealth of instructional best practices, innovative technology skills, and compassion for the whole student,” said Chelsey Tingle, HCPS Assistant Superintendent.
Marshall said the position interested her because she has a passion for enhancing student learning opportunities and outcomes through technology integration, as well as an interest in coaching or assisting other teachers in polishing or increasing their skills to integrate technology into their classrooms.
“In this position I hope to build even more outstanding relationships with my fellow teachers and colleagues throughout the district. I also hope to build our capacity to integrate some of the new and wonderful technology that is available into our classrooms,” Marshall said. “I look forward to collaborating with our administration team, instructional staff and technical staff to support their individual needs.”
As HCPS prepares to launch its Online Academy to serve those families who have chosen at-home instruction for the fall, Marshall’s goal will be to provide those students the same curriculum, rigorous instruction and engaging learning experiences as students who opt for in-person classes throughout the district.
“I am super excited for the opportunity to move into a coaching position and work with all the wonderful teachers we have at HCPS,” Marshall said. “I will not only share my knowledge in regards to technology integration with each of them, but look forward to learning from them as well.”
