The board of directors of the Kentucky School Boards Association annually funds two $2,500 scholarships for eligible Kentucky high school seniors to attend any two- or four-year accredited college or university. Eligible students are those who would be the first members of their immediate families (parents, guardians, siblings) to receive a degree from an institution of higher education. The nominees from Henry County Public Schools, who have already won a local scholarship from the Henry County Board of Education, were recognized at the November Board of Education meeting. The nominees, pictured with Superintendent Dr. Jim Masters, are Carli Wynn and Hayden Gilkison.
